The Totally Not Safe for the Family Christian Radio Podcast: Jesus Loves P*rn Stars

I did the asterisk thing up there because I think it will keep the site from getting blocked.  I'm not sure.  I can't ever figure that stuff out.

Craig Gross, pastor, travels the country talking about the destructiveness of the pornorgraphy industry.   Craig Gross, pastor, is also friends with a symbol of the industry itself, Ron Jeremy.  Go figure.

In this podcast, we ask him how, exactly, that works, and how, too, he and his group of fellow Jesus-worshippers can be welcomed at a gay pornography convention.  And we find out why it's so hard for people to leave an industry that exacts such a heavy, deadly toll.

Find out more about Craig here. And xxxchurch here.  It's a stunningly helpful site.

And here's the link to today's podcast right here.

Thanks for including the asterisk. I'm sure my filter would have blocked out the webpage otherwise. Although I'm not sure why it let the "x-x-x" at the bottom of the post through. Go figure.

Great podcast, by the way!

The fact that so many people face this issue, even in the church is disheartening. I'm sixteen, and even though I know this has always been an issue, my generation and the ones following mine seem to be getting worse. They are walking on a path that very soon can and will leave them empty and broken if they aren't already. Those who are raised as a christian lose sight of God's love and redemption and feel helpless. What would Jesus have done? Well, he would talk to them and show them that his love isn't about what they have done or are doing but about his self sacrificing love that can redeem them. He is the source of true freedom and we as believers can befriend those who need that in hopes that they will ask to know the peace in which we have and through Jesus have new life.

Thank you so much for that eye opening (and heart) interview.  Being a new Christian I am learning new things every day and trying so hard to become the person God wants me to be.  That pastor was incredibly inspiring and to
me he shows the true meaning of unconditional love.

I was very appreciative hearing this blog. I can say that some people type case and place people in the insignificant "categories" forgetting that Jesus didn't do that. The love of God erases all the sins that we have because he died upon the cross. When we get to the "bones" of who we are we have a lot in comment. It's really just learning from others how to be more like Jesus and finding our great purpose in those life lessons. Some might hide themselves away but to challenge yourself to go through the lessons and see that vision that God has set forth is so amazing. In today's world we need to be more confident in our own skin before we preach to others. Again I just wanted to say thank you!!!!!

Thank God for people like Pastor Craig who are reaching out and ministering to people who struggle with these issues. It is very needed both in the church and outside of the church.

The Totally NOT Safe series is the best idea you've had since "Thank you US Service Men and Women" yard signs.
