Win a Chat With Kerrie Roberts

It's not everyday you can have a one-on-one webchat with an Air1 artist, but that could happen for you. Kerrie Roberts has announced the first-ever "Kerrie-Okee Cover Song Contest," where the prize is an awesome prize pack and a webchat via Skype with Kerrie herself.

So get the vocal chords ready, grab the family camera, and bust out your best cover of either "No Matter What" or the latest Air1 add "Outcast." To see more about the contest, click on the pic.

And just think, if you win, you'll know the hours of singing-along in the car was worth it!

Jason Gray and Trick-Or-Treating!

Jason Gray is currently on the "Make a Difference Tour" with a slew of other wonderful artists, and in the middle of performing onstage, he does some insightful writing on the website The Rabbit Room.

Now, seeing that Trick-Or-Treating is around the corner, everyone has their own opinion about it all, and Jason has voiced his as well. And while reading, you might want to re-stock your candy cubby--it's running a little low.

Check out more entries about everything in life from Jason and other brothers and sisters in Christ here.

People like Susan...

Susan wants to let you know that if you’re a mother who struggles with their child, you’re not alone.  This is Susan's story.

“When my sons were small, we sang along with Jars of Clay cassettes on our way to their sports practices. Two years ago my younger son was in jail on a felony drug conviction. It was the darkest year of my life, and I held on to God's promises mostly through listening to Air1; music, words of encouragement, and prayer for others. I also emailed for prayer a few times. The most joyous moment came when my son phoned one Sunday and told me that he was tuning in a radio station on his $7 jail radio and heard Jars of Clay song "Like A Child." He said that our times in the car came rushing back....my faith was renewed that God could reach my son and others anywhere. I've supported Air1 financially for years and haven't regretted it a moment...I give now for sad mothers who have children who are lost and need to be found. Thank you Air1 for your 24/7; 360 degrees ministry."

Susan gives to Air1 to reach out to you, to get through these dark moments together.  If your Air1 station has reached out to you in a dark time, and you want to join together with others, pray about what you can do.  Can you donate to the ministry of Air1 Radio?

What is your 180 degree turnaround?

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life" ~Psalm 138:7a

What is your 180 degree turnaround story? Read James':

Last year in August I went from being an amazing athlete who was self centered, thinking my life was perfect just the way it was, to an injured athlete. My life threw the biggest curve ball my way. That, along with other stuff, caused me to go into a severe depression, and I was on the brink of suicide. But one of my friends helped me out. They said in a time like this you really need to just let God take control of your life, and you will feel so much better about stuff. My friend got me hooked onto Air1, and in my time of need you guys showed me the light. I think it is safe to say I owe you my life.

The Story of the Pizza Girl

Thank you so much for all your support! This is a story from a co-worker here at Air1 about a faithful giver:

During the last hour of one of our pledge drives on New Year's Eve, a woman called in to pledge. Her husband had just left her, and she was forced to bring up her child alone. She delivered pizzas for a living, and Air1 was the only thing keeping her from going off the edge. Each day she was on the verge of losing hope, and each day for eight hours as she drove around delivering pizzas, Air1 would remind her of the hope that she has in God.

"I want to give more, but I simply can't. Maybe in the future things will turn around, but I couldn't continue listening without supporting. You have done so much for me..."

You don’t have to be married, you don’t have to have gone to college, you don’t have to have everything together, you just have to have faith. Faith that whatever you give will be used in ways you could ever imagine.
