A blog about Kutless blogging about Air 1!!

Kutless just blogged about Air 1, so I HAD to blog about them blogging about us!  Ha!  The guys were thrilled that we dubbed them the "new" mythbusters in a video we featured during the Air 1 Revolution last week at air1.com.  In case you missed it, it's not too late to check it out.

And in case you missed your chance to join the Revolution and support your Air 1 station, it's not too late for that either.  Join the Revolution!

Things you didn't know about...Remedy Drive

The Remedy Drive guys were in Chicago recently and they had a video camera following them around downtown Chi-town, asking them a LONG list of questions.  Are the guys into ketchup or mustard?  Burgers or hotdogs?  Favorite cities, favorite colors, all-time favorite bands, words they like, words they hate, you name it, they answer it!

Check out the video, and see who you agree with the most.  Maybe with Phillip, the one who loves horses, like Ted the horse.  Very cute.  I mean the horse, not Phillip.  OK, I guess Phillip is cute, too.  :)

Jars of Clay finally Fall Back to Earth!!!

Jars of Clay finally "fell" today!!  Well, not the guys themselves, but their new album!  "The Long Fall Back to Earth" is out today, April 21st.  And since we like to keep you updated on all things music here on the Air 1 music blog, here's what the Jars guys are up to this week:

  • Last Sunday they wrapped up recording the video for their new single "Two Hands"--the video will be up on their site soon!
  • Tomorrow, Wednesday, they're honored to be a part of a cool benefit concert called Nashville4Africa, along with Third Day, Faith Hill, Keith Urban and others.
  • Thursday, it's the 40th Annual Dove Awards--catch 'em on the Gospel Music Channel.
  • Friday, they kick off their "Two Hands" tour in Lincoln, NE!!

And anytime this week, you can check out their video message.  They talk about a cool new thing they'll be unveiling on their website pretty soon!  Enjoy!

Jeremy Camp's Wasabi Dare

A wasabi dare?  Who would eat a blob of wasabi on a tortilla chip?!  Um, Jeremy Camp would.  Why do boys do stuff like a "wasabi dare"?  I'm a girl, so I'm not sure why boys do stuff like this.  But I have to admit, the video is entertaining.  Have you done a wasabi dare?

Matthew West standing for life

When Matthew West says he has "Something to Say", he's not kidding!  He was hanging out with Gov. Sarah Palin at a Right to Life event last week.  She was one of the keynote speakers at the event last Thursday in Evansville, IN and Matthew had the pleasure of meeting her.  He also sang a few songs from his latest album, "Something to Say",  including his Air 1 hit, "The Motions".  Matthew said he was "...inspired by both Governors' (Sarah Palin and Gov. Michael Steele) strong message and conviction on the subject (pro life), and honored to be a part in an event like this".  Read Matthew's own blog for pics and more.
