Build Your Wall

The book of Nememiah talks about rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a symbol of the city of God and God’s dwelling place. What does it mean to rebuild the walls of your life? When we rebuild the walls in our life we’re re-establishing the protection of our faith and putting up the defenses of all that we believe to be true in our Christian lives.

It’s easy to let the walls crumble down in our lives as we get caught up in the worldly things that drag us down. But God’s grace allows us to get back to him and rebuild those walls.

Where have you let the walls down in your life? How can you start to build those walls back up?

You Are Rich!

“No one has ever become poor by giving.” – Anne Frank (1929-1945), Jewish Dutch diarist during Nazi occupation.

You may have more than you think! How often do you buy a coffee or get out to eat? What, you probably drop $4 here or $10 there? For something that’s gone in a flash! Just imagine what you could do if you invested that $4 here and $10 there into something life changing that could impact someone else? Would you be willing to give up your coffee or your lunch-out if it meant you could bring hope and encouragement to someone else?

If you have and can give to help someone else, YOU ARE RICH!

Turn It Around

God produces miracles in the lives of many. Check out Gina's story of how God worked in her life to turn her around 180 degrees to glorify Him!:

i went from being an amazing mom to a life of meth addiction. dealing and using meth daily to loosing custody of my kids to wanting to die! 2 felony convictions later, God revealed himself to me as I cried cursed and screamed out to him...today I am chosen and dearly loved...I just bought my 1st house at the age of 36 and I have been clean over 7 years...PRAISE HIS NAME! I have joint custody of my girls and I work as a recovery coach to others who are walking in my old shoes....He is faithful!

There is more where that came from! Check out Air1's Facebook page to read more stories of God turning lives around.

The Gift That Keeps On Giving

James 2:15-16 says, “Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?

What song has impacted you?

Like the song "Missing Pages" by Seventh Day Slumber? I had a whole new look on the song after this story:

Brent I won an Air1 contest to see Seventh Day Slumber. I asked so many people to go with me and finally my buddy that I mentored Damus came. He loved the concert and it was normal. Till they played "Missing Pages." He started crying. Later Seventh Day Slumber asked the crowd, “have you ever thought about taking your life?” Damus raised his hand. Then the lead singer told his testimony. He called everyone who needed Jesus's touch. That moment Damus chose to trust Jesus and not kill himself. He told me what happened and why. We prayed. HE IS STILL ALIVE. He would of killed himself Tuesday. Thank you and Thank God for seeing what we could not see. Thank you also SEVENTH DAY SLUMBER.
