Major League Baseball picked which Air 1 artist?

And the answer is ... TobyMac!

The League picked TobyMac, but not as a pitcher or shortstop. They'll be playing his song "Tonight" on the Spring Training series 30 Clubs in 30 Days!

The series is airing on the Major League Baseball Network.

If you're a fan, seriously, what could be better than TobyMac & Baseball?

How about some Apple Pie?

YUM! :)

TobyMac, Satellites and Sirens, oh my!

Ok, so Satellites & Sirens is actually a band, but I thought I'd make the blog title cute. Was it cute? Funny? No?

Well, c'mon! It's Monday! Cut me some slack ... and enjoy some NEW AIR 1 HITS!!

We just added these 2 songs to the Air 1 playlist:

TobyMac "Get Back Up" from Tonight

Satellites & Sirens "Anchor" from their debut album Satellites & Sirens

How about 51 Relient K songs and an air freshener?!

I'll take 'em!

Are you kidding? Fifty-one Relient K songs? YEAH!

Turns out that they're releasing "The First Three Gears", a compilation of the first three Relient K albums (200-2003) on April 20th.

Relient K First Three Gears cover

Click on the cover for more info!

... and if they're throwing in a Relient K keychain, sure, why not? ;)

Ashton blogs about Switchfoot

Switchfoot may never record a new album again… at least not for 6 or so more albums!!

Recently, Switchfoot drummer, Chad Butler, divulged in an interview that there are an estimated 80-or-so songs that have yet to find a CD-like home. Some collections of songs already have a title!!

The next album, tentatively called Vice Verses, hasn’t been given a street date yet, but will presumably feature 12 to 16 of those phantom tracks on it.

Another hinted project is being called the Eastern Hymns for Western Shores EP. This project was actually recorded before Hello Hurricane, and might even see the light of day by the end of this year.

You can read the whole interview in its’ full form ...

… but we’ve told you the extremely important stuff already! :)
