Where does the Healing Begin?

Mike Donehey from Tenth Avenue North explains the meaning behind "Healing Begins." Check out how the song "Healing Begins" by Tenth Avenue North has impacted Kevin's life:

Kevin's been married for 13 yrs now and has 2 daughters he loves more than anything. Now, going through the usual peaks and valleys that marriage can bring, Kevin's been feeling the pressure and stress that working 3 jobs, mounting bills, and time spent away from family can bring. Kevin was ready to leave his wife and was tempted to "burn his marital vows" with other women. Kevin's friend and his brother kept telling Kevin, "God's waiting for you". Kevin hit rock bottom with the potential in losing his home and family. Kevin finally prayed for God's peace and forgiveness. God answered Kevin one day when he couldn't wait to get back to his wife and daughters. God opened Kevin's eyes to what's really important in life besides working and avoiding his family. Kevin goes to church every Sunday and listens to God's message and raises his family in the Christian manner. Tenth Avenue North's "Healing Begins" literally exploded in Kevin's head the 1st day he listened to Air1. Kevin now carries a new love for his job, being a vessel of God's mercy and love as a firefighter, helping those who need hope and care.

Good Samaritan

What does it mean to be a good Samaritan? In Luke 10, Jesus gives us an excellent example. Think about how the man who needed help, was helped by another man who put him on his donkey, and got him to a safe place. Can you be a good Samaritan and get someone back on track by helping Air1? Give us a call at 1-888-YES-AIR1 and we would love to help you to be a good Samaritan!

Be A Hometown Hero

Have you ever wanted to be a hero? Be a hero in your hometown! Make a difference to those around you. What are somethings that you could do to be a hero to someone else? Does it have to be a big thing (donating your paycheck to someone in need) or small thing (maybe mowing the lawn for someone). If you want to be a hero, pray and ask God what he'd like you to do, and be amazed at where he'll lead you!

Who Can You Share With?

This past hour I’ve been sharing stories of people whose lives have been drastically changed by listening to Air1.

For Justin and Mallory this has meant the difference of life and death.  For Justin it has been the difference of living a life as a heroin addict on the verge of overdosing to now being clean and sober and an Air1 donor. For Mallory it means being an active mom to her kids, working with abused women at church and not using her body for love or having her kids have to bury their mom because of a life cut short from suicide.

Who do you know that’s hurting that you could share Air1 with? Who can you share your story with? You might just be the tool God uses to save a life.

Tips for ways you can share Air1 with others . . .

Excuses Excuses

Think you have a reason why not to give. If anyone has a story it’s Barbara.

Barbara has three kids, just recently underwent brain surgery and is unable to work. She donated her last $3.79 earlier but decided that just wasn’t enough. She has decided to pledge $1 a day because she knows God will provide it! She loves God so much and wants to see him keep working through Air1.

What’s your excuse?
