Plumb has a new album coming this fall! Yay!

I love Plumb! I'm very excited about a new Plumb album that's coming out this fall. "Beautiful History" has a couple of new songs, plus amazing remixes of Plumb faves like "In my arms", "Stranded", "Damaged" ... but if you're like "who's Plumb?" you've probably heard her songs on Air 1. Or you could've heard Plumb songs in movies like "Drive Me Crazy" with Melissa Joan Hart and "Brokedown Palace" with Claire Danes and Kate Beckinsale.

And if Plumb still doesn't sound familiar (really?), you can listen to her music player on myspace and see what you think. You might be excited about her new album comin' this fall, too!

Urgent Prayer Request for Decyfer Down guys

Two of the guys in Decyfer Down have some pretty serious prayer requests. Can you pray for them? Chris' wife just had a baby April 21st and she had to be admitted to the hospital with a very high fever. She had only seen her baby 3 days since he was born, so it's been a rough time for them. The drummer, Josh, is also asking us to pray for his wife. They did a biopsy on a lump between her heart and lungs and doctors said surgery is impossible because of where they found the lump. She just had her first chemo treatment and Josh says she's in great spirits!

We serve a God for whom nothing is impossible! Let's pray for a miracle for both of them.

The guys have been posting updates via Twitter, so you can Follow Chris and Follow Josh. And let's keep praying!

Why is Jon Foreman from Switchfoot fasting?

Good question. Jon Foreman of Switchfoot is actually going on a 3-day, water-only fast, starting today, to raise awareness for the people of Darfur.

"Can it be possible that right now, two and a half million people are waking up in ... refugee camps having been driven from their homes by violent means? Under the same sun, could it be true that almost half a million people have died of starvation, violence, and disease over the past six years in Darfur? And if this is true, why has the media remained almost completely silent on the issue? Why has our government maintained its current stance of inaction?"

-Jon Foreman

Find out more about why Jon Foreman is joining the Darfur Fast for Life. And you can read Jon's blog about it, too.

Sunday worship video with ... Flyleaf!

Flyleaf blew me away at the Rock and Worship Roadshow in Oklahoma City a few weeks ago. They did a medley of David Crowder Band's "You Are My Joy" and Hillsong's "From the Inside Out" (which is one of my personal faves). Unbelievable! Check it out in this video from Austin City Limits. I found the clip in a random guy's blog. Random guy, thank you for posting it. You rock!

By the way, there's a new Flyleaf album coming out soon ... we'll keep you posted!

The Classic Crime's official t-shirt

This is The Classic Crime's official Signature Series shirt. They just released it through Atticus Clothing and it's available for a limited time, so I thought I'd let you know about it, especially if you're a die hard Classic Crime fan. It's a great way to show support for the band, since they actually make money from the shirts. Nice shark!
