Jeremy Camp's Wasabi Dare

A wasabi dare?  Who would eat a blob of wasabi on a tortilla chip?!  Um, Jeremy Camp would.  Why do boys do stuff like a "wasabi dare"?  I'm a girl, so I'm not sure why boys do stuff like this.  But I have to admit, the video is entertaining.  Have you done a wasabi dare?

Matthew West standing for life

When Matthew West says he has "Something to Say", he's not kidding!  He was hanging out with Gov. Sarah Palin at a Right to Life event last week.  She was one of the keynote speakers at the event last Thursday in Evansville, IN and Matthew had the pleasure of meeting her.  He also sang a few songs from his latest album, "Something to Say",  including his Air 1 hit, "The Motions".  Matthew said he was "...inspired by both Governors' (Sarah Palin and Gov. Michael Steele) strong message and conviction on the subject (pro life), and honored to be a part in an event like this".  Read Matthew's own blog for pics and more.

What?! Stryper's back?! Really?!

Yes, Stryper is back!  New album, fall tour, the works.  Can you believe they started the band, get this, TWENTY-FIVE years ago?  I feel old.

The new Stryper album "Murder by Pride" comes out this summer.  And the 25th anniversary tour kicks off in September with the original band members, Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet, Oz Fox and Tim Gaines.  Bassist Tracy Ferrie will be sharing the stage with the band when they play their new material, while Gaines will be playing the classic stuff.

I hope they play "To Hell with the Devil".

FM Static #1 on Air 1

FM Static's latest single, "Take me as I am" is #1 on Air 1 this week.  Their latest album, Dear Diary, is the first concept album that lead singer Trevor McNevan ever worked on.  He said it was a ton of fun to put together a whole album where every song is about the "innermost thoughts of a soul-searching teenager".  What's even cooler, he said the inspiration for the album struck him while he was on tour with Skillet last year.  So, if you're loving "Take Me As I Am", check out this video for another song from the album, "Boy Moves to a New Town With Optimistic Outlook".
