Walter Golembeski, Director

Walt Golembeski retired in 2005 after a 31 year history with Colgate-Palmolive. Walt’s roles over the years with Colgate-Palmolive progressed from Manufacturing Engineer to VP of International & Global Operations/Supply Chain Positions. Since 1979, Walt has been involved with various Church Boards, served as an elder in two congregations for a total of eight years, and currently serves as Treasurer for Grace Community Church in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Golembeski currently serves as President of Lifeway Mission Ministry, whose focus is to disciple/teach pastors and ministry leaders in Eastern Africa. Lifeway Mission International operates in ten countries and ministers to 300 indigenous tribes. Other efforts of Lifeway include micro financing, water projects, food for disaster relief and medical camps.

Walt was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania and has been married to his wife Vicki for 36 years. Walt and Vicki have four children: Ryan, Lauren, Kristen, and Jonathan. Walt is a graduate of West Virginia University and has a B.S. in Engineering. Walt works to promote Christian FM radio in New England through Leading the Light the Sound Ministry and is excited to promote K-LOVE/ Air 1 programming.

In addition to starting his term on the K-LOVE Board of Directors this year, Golembeski also serves as a board member of Reach Youth New England, Branches of Hope and Kid’s Alive International.
