    Data Analyst III - Market Research

    This role wears a couple of hats.  The hat that you’ll be wearing most of the time is the Data Analyst hat.  That involves querying databases, analyzing the results and finding answers to some of our more challenging questions, then reporting it in a way that is useful to our execs.  You’ll use the most advanced analytical tools & your naturally inquisitive mind to provide practical insight. 

    The other hat that you’ll be wearing is the Consumer Market Research hat. With this hat on, you’ll be designing & executing consumer research initiatives to find out what our listeners want and need, analyzing the data, and making recommendations based on findings. Knowing what our listeners/donors want & need is critical in providing them with better service & product offerings.  It also allows us to be better stewards of our donor’s dollars. 

    This is a senior level position, so we’re looking for someone with at least 10 years of data analysis or market research experience. 

    Here are a few more qualifications that we’re looking for:

    • 10+ years of experience doing market research and analysis.
    • Experience working with research, statistical and survey design software, along with fluency with core MS Office applications are a must. Experience with Tableau, Marketo, Alteryx, SQL, QDA Miner, R, Python or Nielsen or equivalent research software is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Qualitative moderating experience preferred.
    • Management of interviewers during in-person intercept studies.
    • Understanding of respondent privacy protocols while conducting research.
    • The ability to discern and analyze the critical elements of large sets of information.

    Events Team Representative - Chicago, IL

    Our Events Team Representatives (ETR's) are responsible for promoting & positively representing K-LOVE and Air1 within their territory. Our ETR's develop strong relationships & "presence" within their local communities to increase ministry visibility and brand recognition, resulting in increased listeners.

    A day in the life.......

    OK there's not a typical day in the life of an ETR, however it could look something like...wake up and thank God for this day and the opportunities to change lives. You might need a cup of coffee for that, so go ahead, enjoy. Jump in your car and turn on K-LOVE or Air1! Now your ready to hit the ground running. Say "good morning" to your fellow co-workers, head straight to a strategy meeting with your team, then make calls, connect with community and church leaders or event directors to discuss partnerships. You might take a 10 minute break and pray for our listeners who have sent in prayer requests. Take time to coordinate and check details for your next event, write copy, use social media to announce a listener contest. Lunch time already? Go re-fuel, cause your going to need it for your afternoon promotion downtown. Jump in the K-LOVE or Air1 car and meet your volunteers to spread the word and the music. Fast forward a few hours, wow, that was amazing! It's late, you're physically tired, but there's an energy buzzing inside of you from all those incredible listener stories! You know you're making an impact. Today was a blessed day and on your way home you can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow.

    So here's the nuts and bolts of what we are looking for...

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in promotions, marketing, events, brand management within radio, media or the music industry.
    • Strong knowledge of radio promotional and marketing techniques
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships
    • Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience and skill creating a contagious enthusiasm.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a contributing part of a team. Ability to handle a very fast-paced & rigorous work schedule.
    • Solid computer skills - MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
    • And most importantly, you need to have a sincere passion & enthusiasm for the ministry of K-LOVE & Air1 and "get" what we are all about.
    • BS/BA degree in marketing, broadcasting, mass communications, public relations, or equivalent.

    Additional info about this position...

    • This is a very physical position. Our ETR's are on their feet all day and regularly lift and transport heavy booths & equipment. Candidates must be able to meet this requirement.
    • This position regularly travels to events within their region and requires a valid drivers license & reliable transportation.
    • Understanding the local market is crucial, so candidates currently residing in the area are greatly preferred.
    • More than 40 hours/week is the norm in promotions. And working evenings, weekends & holidays are a regular occurrence/schedule.
    • On average, 25% travel can be expected.

    Field Engineer I/II - Western Colorado

    Our Field Engineers  have the huge responsibility of making sure that our transmitters stay on air & are sounding good.  Without this team of amazing techies, we would not be able to reach the millions of listeners that rely on K-LOVE and Air1 for their daily dose of encouragement. 

    Our Field Engineers brave the elements and travel to remote locations within their region to repair transmitters or other broadcast equipment, install satellite dishes, update firmware and whatever else needs to be done to keep our sites functioning well.  They do it all!     Here's what we're looking for...

    • Minimum of 5+ years' experience troubleshooting and repairing failures in broadcast electronic equipment – trouble shooting audio & RF issues in a radio transmission system.
    • Thorough understanding of the components necessary in a broadcast air-chain
    • Ability to carry out calculations in common broadcast-related formula such as transmitter efficiency, transmitter power output, wavelengths, and antenna system gain

    Field Engineer II - Central Region

    Our Field Engineers are the first line of defense when maintaining our radio networks.  They make sure that we are on-air and transmitting at the best possible quality.  We have a huge responsibility to our listeners, broadcasting 24/7, 365 days/year, and our Field Engineers do not take this responsibility lightly. In addition to maintaining our existing signals, they are also involved with some pretty cool signal expansion projects!

    This position is a part of a National Engineering Team that has been blessed with technical resources unequal to many broadcasting companies in our country!

    This position is responsible for the Central Region.

    Qualification/Experience Requirements:

    Field Engineer II position is a mid-level broadcast engineering position that provides technical and engineering support to a variety of broadcast facilities in our Central Region, ensuring EMF programming is broadcast successfully and to the highest level of quality. The work performed takes place in a range of locations and work situations.

    Qualification/Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing failures in broadcast electronic equipment – trouble shooting audio & RF issues in a radio transmission system.
    • Thorough understanding of the components necessary in a broadcast air-chain
    • Proven ability to deal with multiple, simultaneous problems in a systematic and logical manner

    IT Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Professional

    What will I be doing?

    As the IT Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity professional for K-LOVE & Air1, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the ministry’s IT DR and BC program. You’ll be supporting all activities necessary to enable us to respond to a business interruption.

    A few things that are expected in this role:

    • Develop, implement & maintain DR plans (IT DR plan, DR Run Books, testing/result documents, etc.)
    •   Develop emergency management plans for recovery decision making & communication
    • Collect & report key metrics for measuring DR program success and oversee strategic planning & implementation of DR.
    • Interface with project sponsors, stakeholders & team members to facilitate the progress of all DR related activities.
    • Create & administer training & awareness presentations

     

    How do I qualify?

    If you’re a DR/BC professional with about 4-5 years of experience under your belt, and you’re looking for work that is more “significant”, this might be the position for you! 

    Here are a few other qualifications that we’re looking for:

    • Experience developing entire Disaster Recovery AND Business Continuity plans for mid to large organizations.
    • Experience with ITSM tools and Disaster Recovery applications.
    • Experience with supporting SOX and PCI Audit.

    Lead Events Team Representative - Miami, FL

         While our DJs may be the voice of the ministry, our Lead Events Team Representatives (LETR) are the face of the ministry. THEY are the people that you see at the K-LOVE & Air1 booth when you go to large community events, concerts or festivals. An LETR for K-LOVE/Air1 has Passion for our mission "Create compelling media that inspires and encourages our listeners to have a meaningful relationship with Christ."  In other words, it's not about us, and it’s all about our listeners and Him.

         As the Lead for Miami, you bring energy, insight and ownership to the team delivering short term marketing objectives while continuing to build and innovate towards our strategic long term goals. You should possess a unique blend of big picture vision, creativity, and project management skills to ensure our goals become reality.

         You will serve as a coach & mentor to Events Team Representatives in the area of promotional strategies, planning, techniques and best practices and will activate the market by building relationships with community leaders, engaging listeners, creating social media campaigns, and exposing the radio station to people who have never heard K-LOVE and Air1. You will collaborate with our creative, philanthropy and business development departments as you deepen our listeners’ experience through service opportunities, ministry outreach, events and concerts. This position is based out of our South Florida office.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience planning, coordinating & executing promotional events within the radio, media or music industry.
    • Prior experience working in a supervisory role/coaching/leading.
    • Strong knowledge of radio promotional and marketing techniques.
    • Strong understanding of how to utilize social media in a promotional capacity.
    • Good understanding of the local market & how to best approach promotions within this market.

    They are currently looking for a seasoned Programmer II to join their team. This involves designing, developing, testing, implementing, and monitoring software interfaces between satellite equipment and our internal systems.   

    This is a full time, on-site position, that can be based out of either our Indianapolis, IN studios or our Rocklin, CA headquarters.

    Here's what we are looking for...

    • Ruby programming experience required (rails preferred)
    • 2+ years of Linux command-line experience required
    • 5+ years of experience developing software and user interfaces
    • Programming experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML, SQL, JavaScript) preferred
    • Experience with NoSQL/Distributed Systems desired
    • Experience troubleshooting and repairing failures in software design or implementation required

    Revenue Accounting Manager (6-01-003)

In fact, that’s exactly what we’re looking for in a Revenue Accounting Manager - someone who can wear a few different hats and make it all look good.

    As a non-profit, listener funded Media Organization, K-LOVE/Air1 carefully uses those funds to impact lives for Christ. Our Accounting and Finance department are an integral part in ensuring those dollars are spent wisely. You will make a difference every day, working together, reaching over 28 million listeners. How you might ask?

    Our Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for preparing and maintaining various financial reports and documents, as well as reconciliations. In addition you will oversee the Donation Processing Center (DPC) group, a subgroup of the Finance department, ensuring the staff receives training and development opportunities, providing project workflow oversight, while instilling a fun and productive environment.  In addition, this position is responsible for data integrity, efficacy and implementation of appropriate technical solutions.

    In this role, you’ll be working closely with a whole bunch of creative & talented folks - always wearing your “Relationship Building” hat, and sometimes throwing on your “Reconciling Accounts” hat and other times putting on your “Leadership” hat.

    You will also need your  "Music Lover" hat.  You do have that right?  Because you'll need it. We often have artists, intimate concerts and all-around fun events here.

    What does it take to do this job?

      Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience Solid written and verbal communication skills – with the ability to prepare reports and speak effectively with donors and fellow team members.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
    • Prior experience using accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferably)

    Senior Systems Engineer

    Our  Sr. Systems Engineers , play a lead role on their projects, doing architecture & design, product selection, installation and administration. They work collaboratively with the infrastructure team to make sure the systems that the ministry uses are up and running.

    Here's what we're looking for...

    • 5-10 years of systems engineering experience
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with leading industry standard server hardware & software
    • Prior experience designing and managing Microsoft Exchange
    • Experience doing architecture and design of IIS servers (including the use of SSL Certificates)
    • DNS architecture, design, and administration experience 
    • Experience with VMWare, ESX Server with Virtual Center
    • Experience with Microsoft Server 2008 and 2012
    • Architecture and implementation of Active Directory domains required
    • Experience with implementation and management of load balanced web server farms
    • Technical knowledge of industry standard disaster recovery policies and procedure’s is desired

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • A minimum of 7 years of donor development and fundraising experience with at least 3 years of proven success in major gift fundraising, and preferred experience in multiple fundraising areas such as annual fund, pledge drive, major gifts, events, and planned gifts.
