    Employment Brand Specialist

Culture...  It’s the feel, the way, the glue, the spoken & unspoken.  It impacts our results and the amount of fun we have along the way.  The role of Employment Brand Specialist exists to infuse our culture into pre-employment experiences (think recruitment & social media strategy, interviewing, & onboarding programs) and employment experiences (think training & development, HR communication and reporting pieces, & staff events).

We’re not your typical, old school HR team. We’re looking for someone with the “secret sauce” to be both strategic and hands-on so that our culture & values are communicated with excellence and felt by others. This role requires a “finisher” that implements and carries out projects within the employment branding, communications, and training/development arena. Together, we have the opportunity to do really cool projects that impact our nearly 400 team members and ultimately the 20+ million listeners that engage with our media channels.

Our environment is dynamic, fast paced, highly collaborative, deadline driven, supportive and service oriented. K-LOVE and Air1 is a media organization and this position is our “internal” media person: someone we can go to in order to further inspire team members and reinforce who we are and the “why” we do what we do.

Here are a few of the cool things that you’ll get to do in this role!

    • Incorporate technology, including graphics, web, social media & video into HR initiatives. After all, we are a media organization.
    • Develop and implement a national recruitment brand and communication strategies with a focus in social media.
    • Design & develop experiences and supporting visual materials for recruiting, onboarding, trainings, staff events, wellness initiatives and the list could just keep going.
    • Create and deliver, alongside a dynamic team, experiences that reinforce our values, team member trainings & ministry wide programs.
    • Engage on global strategic initiatives with HR & other departments within the ministry.

What does it take to do this job?

    • A creative, highly relational, results oriented personality, with a passion for the ministry of K-LOVE & Air1.
    • Creative concept development, graphics & layouts, media (for example social media, web, video), and other communication materials (posters, banners, brochures, presentations ). We’re thinking 2-4 years of experience should do…
    • Graphics design experience required. Video creation/editing a plus!
    • Passion and experience dreaming up, planning & executing company initiatives like events, trainings, team meetings, new hire orientations, etc.
    • Wired for and talented at being a front of room leader/facilitator delivering the training you helped create.
    • Ability to influence project completion through project management/project coordination skills.
    • Demonstrated passion creating and communicating with: Adobe Design Suite, Final Cut, Premier Pro or Pro Tools, MS Office.
    • Desire to learn, improve and grow – We like people that want to advance their capabilities and impact on an organization.
    • Oh… and a healthy sense of humor doesn't hurt.
