Tell Us Your Story

Story:
My wife grew up in a household without God, I was the opposite. 4 years ago I broke my wife's trust and our covenant. She is the one that took our family back to church, she is the one that God spoke to to get her into the Church and me back into it. I was ready to throw away my family and everything I had for someone else. Through God's grace and my wife's forgiveness he placed Christian counselors in our lives via mutual friends. That was 4 years ago, Gods grace and Mercy is amazing. This last weekend my wife got Baptized and I got re-baptized. I will forever fight to regain that trust with my wife, but our relationship is so much stronger now that we are both focused on God and put an emphasis on his word in our daily lives. Our favorite verse, that is also on our kitchen wall, is Joshua 24:15 - "As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord." The Lords blessing is so amazing and it continues to amaze us both each and every day. We are both thankful for each other and tell each other this every day. 250 words isn't a whole lot to tell my story, but hopefully I accomplished it. God is capable of anything including saving a marriage that seemed all but finished.
